Bodega BAMZ Songs

  • Latino Pt. 2
    Latino Pt. 2
Earlier this week, Joell Ortiz and !llmind announced that they'd be linking up for a joint project called Human, which will be out on July 17th. Here's the first track we've heard from it, a posse cut called "Latino Pt. 2" that features Bodega Bamz, Emilio Rojas and Chris Rivers.
  • Window Paint
    Window Paint
After warning us yesterday, A$ton Matthew’s keeps his word and comes through with a brand new track tonight called “Window Paint” featuring Bodega Bamz.
  • Bring Em Out
    Bring Em Out
New York doesn't have the star-studded lineup of rappers it once did, but there are certainly a good roster of promising up-and-comers. Of course, one of the city's problems over the last few years is a resistance to collaboration, with many emcees taking the stand-offish approach introduced by 50 Cent in the 00s.
  • Billy Bats
    Billy Bats
Bodega BAMZ has been quiet over the last few months, but he's been working on new music all the while. The Tam Boy leader returns today with another leak from his upcoming album, Sidewalk Exec, which will be available on iTunes as of April 14th. The V'Don-produced record continues in the rapper's lane of twinkling late night street music with a heavy dose of personality.
  • Young Don (Freestyle)
    Young Don (Freestyle)
On New Year's Eve, A$AP Rocky gave us the first of the night's two big hip-hop events (the second being Kanye's surprise track "Only One") by dropping the hotly-anticipated "Pretty Flacko 2." Now, Rocky's fellow New Yorker (and former A$AP Ferg collaborator), Bodega BAMZ has stepped up to freestyle over the Nez & Rio-produced instrumental, titling his take the "Young Don" freestyle.
  • Light Work
    Light Work
After warning us earlier, Bodega Bamz delivers on his word and drops off a new freestyle tonight called “Light Work”.
  • The Plug Pt. 2
    The Plug Pt. 2
With "El-Rey," which dropped back in November, Bodega BAMZ ended a drought that dated back to August, when he dropped "Alchemist #3." Now the TanBoy keeps the new music rolling with "The Plug Pt. 2."
  • El-Rey
We haven't gotten new shit from Bodega BAMZ since he linked up with The Alchemist for "Alchemist #3" back in August, but today he brings back his old "Tanboy Tuesdays" series to drop "El-Rey," a new track produced by V-Don.
  • Alchemist #3
    Alchemist #3
Alchemist is nothing if not consistent. He's linked up for full length projects with the likes of Boldy James, Evidence, and Prodigy over the last couple years, each as solid as the last. Today he links up with gritty New York spitter Bodega Bamz for a dark collaboration, providing him with a fittingly menacing beat.
  • Bodega & Liquor Stores
    Bodega & Liquor Stores
DUBB and Bodega BAMZ may hail from opposite sides of the country, but that doesn't mean they can't collaborate and produce straight fire. The aptly-titled "Bodega & Liquor Stores" finds both MCs discussing life on the coast that isn't their home. Starting with DUBB rapping about his unfamiliarity with snow, the Hidden Faces-produced track then has BAMZ spitting bars about the best fast food L.A. has to offer (yes, of course he name-drops In-N-Out). It's an interesting, fish-out-of-water strategy for this duet, which proves very effective.
  • The Plug
    The Plug
"646-684-0101, Hit me up when you want that coke." We haven't tried dialing the above number, which Bodega BAMZ lists out freely several times in his latest one-off track, "The Plug," but we're very curious to see if it's actually him (commenters, get on that). Bald-faced bars abound on this JohnBoy Beats-produced song, with BAMZ in rare form as he raspily raps lyrics in both Spanish and English. JohnBoy's beat makes great use of congas, haunting piano and flutes, providing a backdrop that matches BAMZ's intensity.
  • King Me
    King Me
Bodega Bamz released his Sunday Service EP earlier this month, but his output isn't about to slow down anytime soon. The New York rapper is kicking off a brand new weekly series, aptly titled, "Tan Boy Tuesdays", in which we'll see a new track every seven days. The first of these releases is "King Me", a Frankie Piff-produced track, which has a suitably triumphant vibe, built off of a rising vocal sample.
  • 93 Acura Legend
    93 Acura Legend
Bodega Bamz will be releasing a collaborative EP with The Martinez Brothers later this month, and after getting the Raekwon-assisted "Fuck Dat Shit" a couple weeks back, the rapper has returned with another new track. While the last taste of the EP looked toward the Wu-Tang Clan, "93 Acura Legend" also references classic New York hip hop, but goes a little farther back (well past 93, in fact).
  • Just Started
    Just Started
We premiered Emilio Rojas' new mixtape, Zero Fucks Given, earlier this morning, which arrives just in time for your summer to kick off. The project features N.O.R.E., Joe Budden, rising rapper DUBB, and more. We've already received a few leaks leading up to the DJ Camilo-hosted project, but we hadn't heard Emilio's collaboration with New York native Bodega Bamz. The song is produced by Audio Jones, who handles most of Emilio's production on Zero Fucks Given. Emilio adopts a staccato flow for the record, while he stunts on his haters.
  • Fuck Dat Shit
    Fuck Dat Shit
Bodega Bamz is preparing a collaborative project Sunday Service with producers The Martinez Brothers, and today we've received one of the first leaks off the upcoming EP. Both Bamz and Raekwon paint a vivid picture of their lifestyle & native city, with a crazy, slightly old school beat from The Martinez Brothers. What do you think of the collabo? Bodgea Bamz was recently featured on the "Game of Thrones" mixtape with his track "Win Or Die" here.
  • Gamble
It's a New York affair on Raekwon's latest release. He connects with East Harlem native Bodega Bamz and Staten Island's SpankJusBizness for verses on "Gamble" which has some really nice production from Scram Jones. Rae is currently prepping his solo album, Fly International Luxurious Art, and he's locked down a release date for it, so expect to find that out in the near future.
  • My Team Supreme 2.0
    My Team Supreme 2.0
Flatbush Zombies were a little delayed on the new track from their Day Of The Dead series this week, but it was worth the wait. Revisiting their Better Off DEAD mixtape, the crew revive highlight, "My Team Supreme" with acouple new verses.Alongside a new 16 from group member Juice, New York's resident Tanboy, Bodega Bamz also contributes to the new Erik Arc Elliott-produced song.
  • Win Or Die
    Win Or Die
Yes, if you're a fan of HBO's wildly popular fantasy adaptation, "Game of Thrones," than you're probably excited for the new Catch The Throne tape, the unlikeliest rap tribute mixtape for a popular premium cable show sporting swords and sorcery (and a whoooole lot of intrigue). Unlikelier still, it will feature big names like Wale, Common, and Big Boi.
  • Bobby Boucher (Freestyle)
    Bobby Boucher (Freestyle)
Bodega BAMZ is already a familiar site in New York, his hometown. However he's been reaching out to a wider audience, aided by his prior track, "Recap."  This latest freestyle by Bodega Bamz, called "Bobby Boucher," after Adam Sandler's character in The Waterbory encapsulates a lot of what Bodega Bamz is about. That is old-school delivery over firmly east-coast production, while retaining a penchant for good ol' silliness as well.
  • Recap
Give Recap a spin - it's a new offering from Bodega BAMZ. It was dropped on Monday, February 3rd, 2014. Bodega BAMZ's rap artistry continues to improve with every release, something which is most definitely evidenced on Recap. His ever-expanding catalogue is definitely better for it, and we're looking forward to the next piece of the puzzle - aren't you? If you're down, make sure to visit Bodega BAMZ's profile page for the newest info, news, songs, and mixtapes. How do you feel about the production here?
