We haven't gotten new shit from Bodega BAMZ since he linked up with The Alchemist for "Alchemist #3" back in August, but today he brings back his old "Tanboy Tuesdays" series to drop "El-Rey," a new track produced by V-Don.

With a title that translates to "The King," the track has V-Don flipping a sample of someone saying "bodega" to form a perfectly apt hook for the boastful track. Elsewhere, the beat is smokey, soulful and murky, blending strings, eerie keyboards and a softly cooing vocal sample into a cohesive whole.

This is taken from an upcoming Bodega BAMZ project entitled Sidewalk Exec.

Quotable Lyrics

Double S, Chevy Chevelle
Heads spin like Latrell
Robbin', givin' niggas hell
Kept the iron like Mike
Tyson, center of attention in NY
So why continue writin'?
