Chicago's Lil Herb pays tribute to his locked-up GS9 homies, Rowdy Rebel and Bobby Shmurda, by freestyling over their "Computers" single. Now, Herbo has released a video to accompany his freestyle, which shows him mobbing, masks on face, guns in hand, with his NLMB homies, which stands for both "Never Leave My Brothers" and "No Limit Muskegon Boyz". The video proves that Lil Herb is one of the hardest rapping young guns out of Chicago.

Bobby Shmurda's career has been put on hold while he remains locked up and deals with his legal drama. News has been circulating that Shmurda was moved to Protective Custody inside, which Shmurda confirmed on a phone call to Hot 97. He also says that everything we heard about the cops finding guns and drugs etc. is completely untrue. He proceeds to go off on the cops, saying they don't want their children listening to his music, before being disconnected, presumably for talking too much shit. Listen to the short conversation in the video above.

Uncle Murda was one of the first artists to grab a feature from Bobby Shmurda following his overnight success, and he made sure to make the collab work. With Bobby making the Shmoney dance a nationwide sensation, Murda introduces the "I just caught a body dance", and commissions the young rapper for a characteristically inspired vocal performance.

Bobby Shmurda found overnight success with his video for "Hot Nigga" which spawned a Vine sensation, a dance craze, and plenty of radio play which landed the track a placement in the top 10 of Billboard's Hot 10, and earned Bobby a deal with Epic Records.

Just a few hours after he debuted the French Montana remix video to his smash hit single "Hot Nigga," Bobby Shmurda performs the clean version of the track on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Performing with two models and a hype man, the emcee captures the instrumental's inherent energy, effortlessly moving the crowd.

It's been a while since "Hot Nigga" was truly popping off, but today, it gets the highest-budget look it probably ever will with the official video for French Montana's remix. Directed by Eif Rivera, the visuals show Montana, Bobby Shmurda, Rowdy Rebel and Lil Durk stunting in NYC. In his verse, Montana pays tribute to his incarcerated (or, in one case, formerly-incarcerated) homies Meek Mill and Max B, and talks about pulling up in a yacht in la marina. Rowdy Rebel might be the most impressive one here, getting a chance to flex his abilities in a new verse on the track.

Leading up to the release of his EP Shmurda She Wrote, Bobby Shmurda has released official visuals for the single "Bobby Bitch." It's a high-energy record in a similar vein as "Hot Nigga." Bobby Shmurda gets a few hotties to join him in the official music video, as they blow up buildings and catch bodies, and Shmurda also busts a few of his dance moves.

Chinx has been hard at work rolling out remix after remix (or rather, 'yaymix), but today he takes a break from that to release an official music video for his collaboration with fellow New Yorkers, Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel.  The Young Chop-produced song just dropped ten days ago, but they've already been able to shoot a fast-paced music video. The visual takes place in an underground garage filled with bikes and cars, as the three rappers get hype. Watch the visual above.

Except for the day that he began to see his YouTube views skyrocket this June, yesterday was probably the biggest day of 2014 for Bobby Shmurda. First, the breakout star hosted a flash mob in Midtown Manhattan, then he released his new single, "Bobby Bitch," and capped off the night with a casual performance on the Tonight Show.

Bobby Shmurda
Bobby Shmurda has become so big overnight that there’s still a lot we don't know about the young Hot N*gga. Sitting down with Jeff Staple for a new “1-2-1” interview recently, Bobby opened up about several different topics, including his musical inspirations, relationship status, and what he loves (and hates) about his new-found fame. He also talked about being a non-traditional NYC sounding rapper, and that his first rap ever was over Lil Wayne’s “Leather So Soft” instrumental.

In the four months since giving birth to her daughter, Lil Kim has been hustling harder than ever to get back into the mainstream spotlight. On top of dropping her warmly-received Hard Core mixtape (not to be confused with her classic debut album) and remixing a ton of modern hits, the self-proclaimed Queen Bee has been upping the ante for her live performance game as well.

Bobby Shmurda was undoubtedly the biggest breakout story from his GS9 crew this summer, but Rowdy Rebel seems to be hot on his heels. The co-creator of the "Shmoney Dance" was recently featured on Jim Jones' We Own The Night Pt. 2: Memoirs Of A Hustler EP, and today his track with Jones, "Still Repping Time," gets a video.
