While Billie Eilish has gained a lot of popularity at such a young age, she has also received a lot of body shaming and criticism when it comes to her choice of clothing.

During a Miami performance on her "Where Do We Go?" tour, Eilish presented a short film expressing her feelings about the judgement and shaming. The tour was postponed due to COVID-19, but she has officially released the video to the public.

In the short film, Eilish is shown in a dark room reciting a powerful monologue about the implications of body shaming. “If I wear what is comfortable, I am not a woman. If I shed the layers, I’m a slut. Though you’ve never seen my body, you still judge it,” Billie says in her signature whisper voice. Originally in a black hoodie, she removes her clothing layer by layer as she addresses the issue.

She has been ridiculed for covering up in baggy clothes and was recently put in the spotlight for deviating from her usual style and choosing to wear a bathing suit: "It was trending. There were comments like, ‘I don’t like her anymore because as soon as she turns 18 she’s a whore.’ Like, dude. I can’t win. I can-not win,” said Eilish in a Dazed interview.

Eilish has been working on a song during quarantine, so we can expect new music from the singer-songwriter. She shared some behind-the-scenes details in an interview with Beats 1: "We've been in the 'stu,' which just means Finneas' basement, basically. We actually, we wrote a whole song in its entirety—an entire song, which is kind of rare for us. I really love it. It was like exactly what I needed to say when we wrote it."
