Big K.R.I.T. spent most of 2018 in the background. His fans were satiated with 4eva Is A Mighty Long Time, which carried them through the end of 2017 into 2018. Still, by the time Summer rolled around, we were on the lookout for some new K.R.I.T. Last year was filled with insane album drops, from Jay-Z and Beyonce's collab project, to G.O.O.D. Music's multi-album run. Cole dropped, Drake dropped, Trav dropped, and those are just a few of the albums that shook up the industry last year.
K.R.I.T. expertly judged the climate, and waiting until the end of the year to bless fans with three surprise EPs. Thrice X, Double Down, and Trifecta were all warmly received and now K.R.I.T. has taken the songs from each of those projects and combined them for TDT. Although fans have already dived into these songs, having them all in one place and assigned in the order K.R.I.T. would prefer we listen to them changes the energy of the tracks.
