Big Boi plays 3 new tracks live in Brooklyn from his upcoming album "Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors"
Big Boi is on a promotional kick for his upcoming album, Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors, and made a stop in Brooklyn Thursday night for a media listening party, following up on the release of the A$AP Rocky- and Phantogram-backed "Lines" last week-end.
While listening parties have become a standard in the industry, Big Boi kept it fresh as always by performing three tracks live. He kicked off the gig with "Mama Told Me," which features Kelly Rowland (originally featuring Little Dragon), followed by "CPU (Computer Screen)," "In The A" (which features Atlanta rappers T.I. and Ludacris) and "She Hate Me."
Big Boi teased with only seven tracks, so a full album review will have to wait. Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumours drops December 11th. Last week Daddy Fat Sax also revealed artists featured on the album, including B.o.B. Check out his performance of "Mama Told Me" with Little Dragon in Austin below.
