Earlier this week we heard from a source inside the legendary Stankonia Studios that Big Boi and Andre 3000 were working on respective solo albums which they would possibly be dropping this year. That wasn't all, word was that the two would reunite for a new OutKast album following their reunion festival tour and release of these solo efforts.
Now we've got official confirmation for half of this. While speaking to Revolt TV, Daddy Fat Stax did confirm a new solo album was on the way. Big Boi doesn't say very much about the album, just that it is happening. As for OutKast's decision to reunite, the rapper says its for the fans and to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of their classic record Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.
