Most recently, Beyonce traveled to India to perfrom at a pre-wedding celebration for the daughter of India's richest man. It was on Sunday that Bey took to Instagram to upload shots of her in traditonal Indian garments for the wedding as well as shots of her onstage at the performance.
The bride is 27-year-old Isha Ambani, daughter of Mukesh Ambani, billed as the richest man in the country with a net worth of $47.3 billion according to Forbes. Isha Ambani, a Yale graduate, sits on the board of directors of her father's Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail companies and is marrying 33-year-old Anand Piramal, executive director of Piramal Group and founder of Piramal Realty.
In addition to Beyonce, other high-profile attendees included Hillary Clinton and Arianna Huffington, cofounder of the Huffington Post.
The celebrations are well ahead of the ceremony, scheduled to take place on Wednesday in the financial district of Mumbai. This weekend, guests were gathered in the desert city of Udaipur.
This marks the latest high-profile wedding to take place in India. Most recently, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra celebrated their nuptials in India earlier this month. Their own wedding took place over the course of three days, holding two separate ceremonies for their Hindu and Christian faiths.
