We knew Beyonce had some kind of surprise for us tonight, and it turned out it was a world tour, but it wasn't revealed before she threw down with Coldplay and Bruno Mars during the halftime show. Things kicked off with Coldplay, who performed a range of hits including “Viva La Vida,” “Paradise” and “Adventure Of A Lifetime,” before Bruno took over with his infectious Mark Ronson collab, "Uptown Funk".

After that, Bey made her first appearance, performing a highly choreographed dance sequence while slaying her new single, "Formation". She went on to battle Bruno Mars in a crew dance-off, before Bruno, Bey and Chris Martin banded together to sing a medley of hits from past half time shows, climaxing with Coldplay's "Up and Up".
