BANKX, the Milwaukee rapper who's part of Skizzy Mars' Penthouse collective, has been relatively thrifty with his output this year, but that has ensured that each of his songs has achieved a healthy buzz. His new track, "Trust Me," is more of the melodic late-night material he specializes in, with an especially experimental approach to his vocals -- rapping, moaning, and harmonizing all in one expressive burst. The gentle but moody trap production comes from 6ixty. With "Trust Me," BANKX has revealed that his next project, Alive in the Night Time, is coming "so soon."

For a proper introduction to the mysterious sonic world of BANKX, listeners should peep the Essential Listening playlist he shared on his SoundCloud earlier this year.
