Every day since December 23 2016, Lucky Me Records has dropped a free song from artists on their roster. Baauer's "Candyman" is the label's January 3 release. Tale has it that when Baauer and Fetty Wap recorded "Promises," the Philly producer was also working on "CandyMan." Left off his 2016 Aa album, Lucky Me claims there is a version of "My Way" layered over this track gathering dust somewhere.
The EDM trap beat is catchy and the rumors of another Fetty Wap-Baauer partnership makes us wonder what it would sound like with the Jersey rapper onboard.
Baauer and Pusha T are performing at Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on January 11.
