It’s been a minute since NYC legend AZ last impacted our front pages, but luckily that all changes here tonight. Linking up DJ Absolut for a new freestyle for his #MixtapeMondays series, here goes AZ’s take on Luda & Jeezy’s classic instrumental “Grew Up A Screw Up.”
As expected, AZ delivers a hard, NYC-sounding freestyle that finds him boasting about his fancy whips, status in the game, and deep pockets. While it may run less than 2-minutes, there’s plenty of witty punchlines and slick bars to leave die-hard fans more than just satisfied. It follows up his latest release “Vintage.”
