It's been a long, harrowing journey for August Alsina. In July 2019, the singer shared that he'd been privately battling health issues and had lost the ability to walk. "I have a liver disease where my autoimmune system is fighting against itself," August Alsina said. "Reality is I'm sick all the time. I'd really like to talk about it and I'm not looking for anybody's sympathy. Don't treat me like I'm a f*cking cancer patient, because I'm not."

The talented vocalist has shared bits of his recovery with the world via social media, and fans cheered once he was able to return home after being ill at the hospital for some time. August has given his listeners brief snippets of music through videos and Instagram Stories over the past year, and now Rap-Up reports that the singer is all set to drop his forthcoming project next Friday (June 26).

The outlet states that August Alsina will be making a return with The Product III: State of Emergency, a 27-track album. He'll reportedly be releasing a new song every day beginning on Monday (June 21) and the album will highlight "his upbringing as a crack baby, losing his father and sister, and becoming the guardians for his three nieces, as well as his battle with an auto-immune disease that nearly killed him," claims Rap-Up.

Features on The Product III: State of Emergency reportedly include Lil Wayne, Juicy J, Yo Gotti, and Tink. Are you looking forward to this one?
