Audra The Rapper combined heavy-lifting rhymes with a summer-ready beat from Just Blaze on "Nutter Butters", but on her new record, "Fronto Leaf", she gets into some icy minimalism.
Cutting up Juicy J's "Yeah Ho" ad-lib into a nearly unrecognizable punctuation, the beat for the track is built off of a barely-there synth line, and some hard-hitting drums.
Audra takes the opportunity to put her rhymes in the forefront, effortlessly switching her flow up, going for a subtle rapped refrain on the chorus, but supllying enough dynamics in her delivery that every turn of phrase feels entirely new.
