Every year, Fool's Gold makes sure that summer goes out with a bang by putting on multiple "Days Off" around the country, featuring a revolving cast of big names (we had a blast at last year's NYC date). Today, the label has announced the lineups for this year's set of shows, taking place in Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Miami and Austin.

This year, he's already got YEP, with OG Maco, and lolU, with CEEJ of Two-9. That's a crazy output, and we're finally ready for his debut album.

We caught up with the producer and Fool's Gold founder at SXSW to discuss his collaborations with some of Atlanta's finest, as well as his plans for this year.

Fool's Gold lost one of their co-founders today, as A-Trak confirmed with an Instagram post. Joshua Prince aka Dust La Rock, was a co-founder of the independent label alongside A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs. He also acted as their art director. He was responsible for designing many covers for the label, including ones for Kid Cudi, Danny Brown and more.

DC native, MMG emcee Wale releases his latest project, Festivus with assistance from A-Trak. The Seinfeld influenced project is a holdover for Wale's upcoming album, The Album About Nothing, which now has a scheduled release date of March 31st. Festivus includes features from Chance the Rapper, Ab-Soul, ASAP Ferg, Pusha T, and Fat Trel, among others. Production includes frequent Wale collaborators Tone P, and Best Kept Secret.

Though DJ Rashad was a more well-known figure in the dance music world, he had his fair share of friends and admirers in the hip-hop sphere. Yesterday, the 35-year-old DJ was found dead in his apartment, with narcotics and drug paraphernalia allegedly found near his body. Many rappers and producers, including Rashad's onetime tour-mate Chance The Rapper, took to Twitter to remember the music legend. Danny Brown is in the thick of his co-headlining "2 High To Die" tour with Action Bronson (and was just granted entry to play shows in Canada for the first time), but the Old emcee already has another joint tour up his sleeve. Danny will be joined by A-Trak, who on top of being a DJ (and producer of "Smokin & Drinkin" from the rapper's new album), is also the founder of Fool's Gold Records, the label Brown currently calls home.

A-Trak has had a pretty respectable career in hip hop. He was the first DJ to win all three major DJ competition titles, served as Kanye's tour DJ (heavily influencing the sound of 2007's Graduation), co-founded Fool's Gold records (the home of Danny brown, Killer Mike, and Action Bronson), and has released plenty of his own music as well.
