With both Atmosphere and DeM AtlaS heading on a European tour shortly, the Rhymesayers signees team up for a new collaboration, "Finer Things," which serves as our first new music from the Minnesota natives since last year's Southsiders album.
Of course, the production comes from Ant and is very musically-inclined, with a mix of piano keys, guitars and marching drums-- it's rock-esque, especially with that hook. It's feel-good, and Slug provides his poetic bars about some every day shit, as only he can.
If you're overseas, catch both artists starting September 30th in London. The tour wraps up October 18th in Stockholm, and then they'll head back to American soil for California shows.
It's just her and me and some cheap balloons
Turn the key and sing the tunes
The full mono look like a macaroon
I feel invisible til the afternoon
But, everybody wanna catch star
To try to recharge that electric spark
