A$AP Ferg's debut album Trap Lord opened with a veritable banger named "Let It Go". 808s and congas never sounded so good.
Ferg's sophomore album Always Strive and Prosper features a song cut from a similar cloth called "Let It Bang". Though it doesn't feature any congas, it still bumps hard in the whip, thanks in part to a sinister verse from ScHoolboy Q. It is the story of a young man gone of the rails as seen through the eyes of his grandparents. Ferg is such an underrated lyricist.
Always Strive and Prosper drops April 22. Watch out for the pre-order dropping tonight.
Cologne and liquor was his odor
Fragrance, of a ridin' soldier
ODB was his persona, he was high on Mars
40 ounce in this some marijuana
When grandma die from pneumonia
Now his life a roller coaster, put that shit on God
