SKEE Live on HotNewHipHop: Nipsey Hussle, Paris Hilton & Dom Kennedy
HNHH is now covering SKEE Live as a weekly series.  We're bringing you behind-the-scenes footage and interviews from all the guests.  Here's a little preview of what's to come, as well as our chat last week with Paris Hilton. Interviews from Nipsey Hussle and Dom Kennedy will be up on HNHH YouTube shortly.  Don't forget to subscribe here!
    Charts Don't Lie: August 4th
Last week we contemplated the low sales for Ace Hood's Trials & Tribulations album. This week, we see a severe drop for Ace's album, at the same time we get a new entry with similarly low sales, Rich Gang. We all know those Young Money fans go hard for their rappers, however, it appears they didn't come out to purchase Birdman's YMCMB compilation (of sorts), Rich Gang.
    Charts Don't Lie: July 7
This week on Charts Don't Lie we have one new entry, and that's Wale with The Gifted. Wale is an interesting rapper to consider, because there's no denying people love to hate on him. We saw this with the resurgence of old tweets from rappers-- one thing they seemed to all have in common was their strong dislike from Mr. Folarin.
    Charts Don’t Lie: March 31
This week we were extremely impressed by the numbers that Justin Timberlake pulled with his new album, The 20/20 Experience. Within the hip-hop/r’n’b-sphere, we haven’t seen a chart topper sell the amount JT sold in a while. The artist pulled in 980k, which funnily enough takes away a record from Lil Wayne, who happens to
    Underrated Audio: June 15-21
This past week proved to be a big one for hip-hop. Definitely a week to be remembered, with three big rap albums (and one r'n'b album) all dropping on the same day (and every one knows this date by now)-- June 18. While Kanye West, J. Cole and Mac Miller had the spotlight for the majority of the week, that's not to say there weren't some dope releases from other artists.
    Underrated Audio: April 9-15
This week's Underrated Audio is mainly composed of artists who are on the rise, from Toronto rapper Rich Kidd, to the Def Jam signee, August Alsina. Although most of these artists have yet to really establish themselves in the game (we can gloss over Cory Gunz, who also appears in UA this week), they delivered quality tracks this past week which we’d like to shine some more light on.
Emerging Hip Hop Scenes: Toronto Edition
Home to one of the game’s biggest stars and several acclaimed risers, Toronto is finally emerging as the hip hop force it’s spent over two decades trying to become. Until recently, the city’s place on the world stage was tenuous. As North America’s fourth largest market, Toronto has produced talented and original
Dwyane Wade's Ex Withdraws $1M Lawsuit
Clearly there’s some bad blood between Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife, Siovaughn Funches-Wade, as she had filed a lawsuit for a million dollars but has no “voluntarily dismissed” the case.  The lawsuit had claimed that the two signed a contract back in 2006 that certain endorsement money would be placed in a joint account where Funches-Wade could access it, but that Dwyane had voluntarily bee
Underrated Audio: December 28- January 3
New Years Eve celebrations went down just a few days ago, so this weekend you may still be recovering from all your mid-week partying. While you do that, you can take a look at the four chill cuts sitting in Underrated Audio this week. No records too turned up this weekend. From a little-known Arkansas rap group to Sean Price, here are four pieces of audio we're giving a second look.
    Underrated Audio: February 12-18
This past week we saw an influx of themed content, surrounding Valentine's Day and the NBA All-Star Weekend. Rappers just love dropping material simultaneously, thus the site was busy with mixtapes and songs centered around either subject, resulting in some music getting pushed aside. Here are five tracks that may have been neglected in the V-Day and All-Star frenzy that occupied last week.
    Rap Industry Recap: December
Business moves quick, and that's no exception for the rap world. From the hottest new signings, to movie deals, to album pushbacks, the industry is constantly in motion. It can be hard to keep up with at times, so we've consolidated all of the must-hear information from the past month, all in one place.
    Charts Don’t Lie: June 16
This week all eyes are Kanye West, J. Cole and Mac Miller. But mainly Kanye West. The three rappers are releasing their respective projects two days from now (Tuesday, June 18th) and we will be watching the sales and the charts to see where each artist lands.
HNHH Does BET Green Carpet With Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Yo Gotti, Bone Thugs & More (Part 1)
HNHH hit up the BET Hip Hop Awards this Sunday, and we got our very own Broady The Joker to tear up the Green Carpet for some interviews. We talked to Nelly about his new album, asked Snoop about getting into stand-up, as well as hanging out with Cash Out, Tiara Thomas, Yo Gotti, August Alsina, Lola Monroe and more!
Underrated Audio: October 26- November 1
This week we overloaded with music, thanks in most part to Halloween-- rappers love dropping their shit on a holiday of some sort or on some themed tip, and this year was no different.  Among the ton of mixtapes and singles we received, we've picked out four in particular that deserve a second look in this week's Underrated Audio.
    Word Up: Is Tupac Back?
By now you've probably seen, or at least heard about, the Tupac hologram which debuted at Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg's performance at Coachella. It took the internet by storm, and was praised by many; but there is still a sense of hesitancy in accepting that holograms are the 'way of the future.' I don't think I'm alone in saying that I hope that the Tupac hologram doesn't
    Charts Don’t Lie: August 31
This week we're seeing a lot of the smaller debuts from last week trickle down the charts, as Wiz Khalifa takes over the top spot with his new album Blacc Hollywood. Despite having somewhat mediocre and mixed reviews, the album happened to be Wiz's first #1 LP, if you can believe it.
Talking To Tha Joker & Big Fruit On "The Explanation"
Tha Joker has been steadily grinding alongside producer, Big Fruit, for some time now. The  two southerners first linked up in 2006, when Joker joined Big Fruit's independent label. Although the two have since parted ways label-wise, they have remained frequent collaborators.
Kobe's Mom Auctioning 2000 Championship Ring Gifted To Her
Like most mother’s, Kobe Bryant’s mom was tired of holding onto all of her kid’s old stuff long after he had moved out.  Pam Bryant decided she wanted to sell some of Kobe’s things at auction and see if she can get some money for them. Problem is, most of this was valuable memorabilia that Kobe didn’t want sold.  The two ended up going to court over the matter and eventually settled t
    Charts Don’t Lie: May 25
This week we're seeing how a little bit (or a lot, rather) of media coverage can go a long way. While we have new entries from Michael Jackson (Xscape) and Iamsu! (Sincerely Yours), we're also seeing a few classic albums re-enter the Billboard 200, plus there's the aftermath of the Solange/Jay Z elevator blow out.
    Charts Don't Lie: September 9th
The debate as to whether charts do, or don't lie, rages on. On one hand, there are the numbers themselves. As to what they mean is a subjective matter. That said there is the argument that the numbers are incorrect. Weighted sales are one such issue. Particularly problematic in the late 90’s, weighted sales were a questionable algorithm included in
Talking To King Los With Producers J. Oliver & Flight Sch. On "Becoming King"
King Los has released mixtape after mixtape, documenting his journey to 'Becoming King,' as he calls it, and increasing his fan-base with the release of each project.
Talking To Nipsey Hussle & 9th Wonder On "Face The World" & "TM3"
Although Nipsey Hussle has yet to release a debut album, the West Coast native keeps his fans locked with a steady flow of strong mixtapes. His Marathon series of mixtapes have seen Nipsey grow as an artist and evolve into someone unique in a rap game that is over-saturated with drug-talking and gang-affiliated rappers.
    Rap Industry Recap: January
Business moves quick, and that's no exception for the rap world. From the hottest new signings, to movie deals, to album pushbacks, the industry is constantly in motion. It can be hard to keep up with at times, so we've consolidated all of the must-hear information from the past month, all in one place.
Underrated Audio: November 30- December 6
Underrated Audio provides you with a few joints we feel deserve an extra look or two from the last seven days. This week we give some more shine to A$AP Nast, another New Yorker who's a female by the name of Leaf, Nikko Lafre and Shlohmo.  Peep those four cuts in the gallery above, and let us know what underrated piece of audio you've been digging this week.
