This week is pretty big on the music-front, we got Big Boi and Game’s album both out today, and both are equally dope and deserve multiple listens. With those LPs taking up much of my spare listening time, the rest is relegated to Sir Michael Rocks’ new shit (a sample of which is seen below) and various other singles (also seen below). Enjoy. Charts Don't Lie: March 3rd
The spike in album sales we saw accompany the Grammys and Valentine's Day has now subsided, with overall album sales having decreased by 20% over the week. Nonetheless our charts are staying pretty consistent: two female stars continue gripping onto the top spots of Charts Don't Lie, while their male counterparts take spots beneath them.

Jay Pharoah's Funny Jay Z Impression At ESPYS
Saturday Night Live performer and impressionist, Jay Pharaoh, was at last night’s ESPY awards and did a hilarious Jay-...sorry, Jay Z (no hyphen) impression as Jay the Sports Agent.  He had some great lines poking fun at Jigga running Roc Nation Sports, and how he has split his time between what seems to be innumerable ventures.   A couple of the gems were when he listed Jay’s accomplishme

It seems like good music has been slow lately. Although we're still being bombarded with content on the daily, it seems like you have to wade through a lot to find the gems.
    Underrated Audio: March 5-11
It seems like the lack-of-music we we're talking about on last week's Underrated Audio has finally come to an end. This past week we've seen huge songs drop from Drake, Fabolous, A$AP Rocky, Lupe Fiasco and Ace Hood, just to name a few. You'll see some of those songs topped our Top 100 and were featured on Top Tracks of the Week, but it wasn't only the big names dropping music this past week.
    Charts Don’t Lie: February 24th
Artists who performed at the Grammys or (better yet?) won an award, gained more than just the honor—they gained new fans, perhaps reached a wider audience than usual and thus increased sales of their music. Over the past week, overall album sales

It’s true that rapper’s like Chingy and the Ying Yang Twins have platinum selling albums. While others such as J. Cole and Big Sean do not. The reason rests not in the quality of their product, but rather when they were released. Despite the arrival of online file sharing, the music industry didn’t fall into disarray instantly. In fact, as far as hip hop is

    Charts Don't Lie: May 19
This week on Charts Don't Lie some of the less consistent rappers have fallen off, while others prove they're on the charts for the long-term. We already knew Justin Timberlake would be here awhile, after he went platinum in very little time following his album's debut.
    Underrated Audio: February 12-18
This past week we saw an influx of themed content, surrounding Valentine's Day and the NBA All-Star Weekend. Rappers just love dropping material simultaneously, thus the site was busy with mixtapes and songs centered around either subject, resulting in some music getting pushed aside. Here are five tracks that may have been neglected in the V-Day and All-Star frenzy that occupied last week.

    Charts Don't Lie: July 7
This week on Charts Don't Lie we have one new entry, and that's Wale with The Gifted. Wale is an interesting rapper to consider, because there's no denying people love to hate on him. We saw this with the resurgence of old tweets from rappers-- one thing they seemed to all have in common was their strong dislike from Mr. Folarin.
