There was not too much I was really fucking with last week that hasn't already received enough attention, so I just found three cuts for this week. I don't really have much to say either. Rockie Fresh and Casey Veggies bring something you can chill too, Rich Hil and The Weeknd have something you can get high too, and Mike Posner..I just threw that one on there for kicks.
Take a look at our gallery of the biggest music video directors in the game, accompanied by some of the iconic visuals for artists like Rick Ross, Tyga, Lil Wayne, Tupac, Drake and more.

The 55th annual Grammy awards air tonight, and in anticipation we're looking at some of the most memorable moments we've seen at the awards show thus far. We're looking back at iconic performances like Eminem's duet with Elton John, and the live debut of crew track "Swagga Like Us". We're also reminded that Kanye wasn't the first person to interrupt someone in the middle of their acceptance...
Just as we mentioned last week, it seems we now have some chart-toppers that are here to stay, at least for the time being. We've seen the first four artists below consistently on Charts Don't Lie since their respective albums dropped. All are steadily selling, and if they do decrease in sales, it isn't by a vast amount. We're also finally seeing the r'n'bers make their way off Charts, with...
Keeping it fresh with his signature, smoked out flow, Curren$y delivers a strong introduction with the title track New Jet City. Backed by a pompous instrumental, Spitta lays it down and lauds about his boss status. From “sittin in the back of his triple black, with picnic tables, twisting up sacks” to making double our life savings, he is clearly on some new boss shit. The triumphant...
The past week has brought a bunch of new mixtapes, including personal favorites from Curren$y and CyHi. I'm glad to see Spitta back on his rapping shit and choosing quality beats once again. And although Pusha T's latest effort kind of fell short for me, it will nonetheless still get plays. So although we've got a bunch of quality mixtape music on deck at the moment (it seems to always...
For hip-hop aficionados, out of all the glorious things it has done, the Internet has most importantly allowed the entire music industry to change. Instead of waiting for labels to promote the hottest new artist and go through painstaking processes to find them, Tweets, Facebook shares, YouTube videos allow every musician, big or small, to be heard. This has allowed rappers to rise...
Kendrick Lamar was right, “real people want real music, the
Jig Is Up.” With A$AP Rocky’s album leaking incredibly early, the very solid
debut studio effort from the Harlemite continues to sell. All the albums making our Charts this week
are featured on some kind of “Best Of” list, and as far as Hip Hop/R&B
sales are concerned, fans are purchasing quality projects from...
We're getting quite a bit of G.O.O.D. music this week, with Pusha T and CyHi keeping content coming, and by Sunday we'll have new Curren$y-- so that sounds like a pretty nice week as far as mixtapes goes. Here are few singles that also add some niceness to the week.

Game Changers is a new HNHH feature
that highlights artists that have left a strong mark on hip hop.
Whether it be through creativity, influence, exposure, or just plain
good timing, a game changer is someone who has brought something to
rap where the game just wouldn't be the same without them.
In our first entry to the series, we're
covering New Orleans legend Lil Wayne. Weezy has been a...

This week we see a new chart-topper arrive, the New York rapper who takes on that southern style, A$AP Rocky. Rocky's debut album, Long.Live.A$AP did surprisingly well. We see albums leak all the time-- usually it's just a week prior to the album's release though. In Rocky's case, we saw it leak a month early. However, Rocky continued doing promo and dropping singles, not worrying about the album...
This week we got some new Ab-Soul and JMSN, actually our first real taste of the duo working together, and it was quite well-received. The rapper and singer/producer have a collaborative album dropping in February, which is the only album I really am looking forward to in the pipeline of winter releases...It doesn't really seem like there are many dope LPs to get us through the winter so let's...

This week on Charts Don’t Lie, R&B artists who infuse
their music with hip hop collaborations and sounds continue to rule, however
things are about to change as A$AP Rocky’s studio debut is projected to top the
Billboard 200 next week. In the interim,
we see the holdovers from 2012 selling solid with some of the best albums of
the year still appearing on the charts.
we saw a comeback from Juelz Santana, which seems to be going over pretty well,
my personal favorite is definitely the Banks feature (so far). Future also
dropped his F.B.G. crew tape today, which as per usual, has people divided with
equal amounts hate & love. I guess an auto-tuned rapper isolates people
like that. You either hate it or love it.
Anyways, for those who are not...

We saw a brief hiatus of Charts Don't Lie over the holiday break, but that doesn't mean sales slowed down, in fact, it appears to have been the opposite. Over the holiday season, many artists saw a rise on the charts as more copies were sold of their respective albums. So this week, you'll see artists featured that probably haven't appeared on Charts for a while. It's interesting to see which...
Whatup homeboys and homegirls, Underrated Audio has been on a bit of a hiatus, although you probably didn't notice. Mainly it was because it was the holidays and I was chilling in the Holy Land (Israel). I listened to some Hebrew rap while over there, but it just wasn't the same 'cause I couldn't understand what the fuck anyone was saying, which is obviously like 90% of enjoying a rap song....
