Kendrick Lamar This was one of my favourite's off Meek's mixtape Dreamchasers 2, and I guess it probably isn't 'underrated' seeing as that tape's been downloaded almost 250k times
Here at HotNewHipHop we advocate people getting "Turnt Up!" Sometimes it's going to the club and wildin' out more than usual, getting amped up before a basketball game, or just going nuts in your bedroom listening to big tunes. "Turnt Up" has become a phrase synonymous with letting loose, having an insane night, or just getting messed up on whatever your vice of choice.
When hip-hop began, samples were all that DJs and producers had to construct instrumental tracks with. They'd dig through crates of vinyl trying to find isolated drum breaks, melodies or vocals that they could repurpose for use in hip-hop music. Today, sampling has become less common, but a choice sample can still push a track from lukewarm to hot faster than you can say "uh-huh honey".

Bromances aren't relegated strictly for college frat boys, although you may have that idea in mind. Hip-hop has proved to be the birthing place of many a bromance, some of which have fizzled out over the years, and some of which remain stronger than ever.
