This past weekend is when most NBA players dressed up for Halloween as the season hadn't started yet, and we saw some solid costumes from the Thunder, and the Spurs, but Jon Leuer and Quincy Pondexter may have stolen the show. The two dressed up as Billy Hoyle (Leuer), and Sidney Deane (Pondexter) from the classic basketball flick "White Men Can't Jump" for Halloween.

Or maybe thats just from those rose pedals. If you're more into these, act fast.

THE RULES ARE SIMPLE:1) Follow HotNewHipHop on Instagram and Facebook 2) Enter the comment below: "@HotNewHipHop.com, get me Rick Ross tickets in CITY NAME! "
Prior to his debut in a Knicks uniform, Metta World Peace decided to touch base with his New York roots and ride the subway to Madison Square Garden. Growing up in Queensbridge, where his brother still lives, Metta (or Ron Artest, as he was known then) took the F train frequently, and he had not taken it in a long time so he felt prior to his first Knicks game would be a good chance.
As we've mentioned in previous features, the inspiration rappers draw from film can't be denied, and horror movies are no exception.
One of the many joys of a new NBA season is watching talented up-and-comers blossom into stars, making what sports fans vaguely refer to as "The Leap".
On the NBA's opening night, we had an abundance of feet heat to talk about, with the LeBron 11 debut and Ray Allen's "Two Ring's" Jordan 11 PE. Last night, the rest of the NBA took to the floor to kick off their seasons. We saw LeBron break out the LeBron 11 "Away" but switch to the LeBron X at half.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that the Jordan 5 "Laney" is popping up on instagram, since the official release is just days away. Recently, BET's 106 & Park host, Bow Wow took to instagram to taunt his followers, showing off his pair. The Air Jordan 5 "Laney" will hit retailers on November 2nd, with a price tag of $170. These will absolutely fly off the shelves.
Like anything, sneakers are guilty of taking on trends. Some trends stick around and are used again throughout the years, sparingly. Others, are just beaten to a pulp and become nauseating at the very site. Recently, there has been an overwhelming amount of repeated patterns and colorways that need to be addressed.
The Miami Heat started their season of right by receiving their championship rings, defeating an Eastern conference rival on a nationally televised game, and topping it all off with a Chris Bosh videobomb. During their historic 27 game winning streak, Bosh, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade caught the videobomb bug when their teammates were being interviewed after wins - you can see my grades for eac
Halloween arrives tomorrow, and it's the time of the year where grown ass men and women can get away with dressing up as whatever they want, really, and usually for women, that involves showing as much skin as possible.
We've previously reviewed at this sneaker this sneaker as a "carbon fiber" Nike LeBron 11. Traditionally, the LeBron 11 is constructed of foamposite material. However, this "Miami Nights" version of the sneaker includes a carbon fiber print, as well as an icy blue sole that creeps its way onto the outsole.Cloaked in black, the sneaker is contrasted by fusion pink and includes dark grey accents.
One of the main storylines going into this season is the return of Derrick Rose, as fans had waited nearly a year and a half from the time he injured his ACL and he played real meaningful NBA minutes. We saw him look explosive and return to form during the preseason, but he hadn't really made a full comeback until he played a regular season game.
The NBA is back! And last night, there was plenty of heat that had the sneakerheads talking.

Sneakers draw on inspiration from almost anything. The Air Jordan 14 was designed to resemble a Ferrari. Every sports city has a sneaker colorway modeled after their teams. We've seen multiple kicks themed on Holidays. Hell, the LeBron 8 "Sprite" was inspired by a soda. One of the most popular places that sneakers draw on inspiration is on the big screen.
