HNHH takes a look at how different rappers are celebrating Thanksgiving this year.
It's official. Kanye has left Nike to team up with Adidas and their Y-3 line. In case you were living under a rock for the past 24 hours, Kanye left Nike because he was not receiving any loyalties. Apparently, because he is not an athlete, Nike could not pay him any royalties; which didn't fly with 'Ye. Kanye isn't the only musician capable of designing his own sneakers though.
The 90s are often referred to as rap's golden era, and while rappers of all types will continue to pay tribute to the decade, Drake definitely takes it to the next level. Drizzy's love affair with the 90s can be traced to all facets of his artistic output, from his music, to his videos, to his "interesting" fashion choices.
Wiz Khalifa is currently working on a new album, Blacc Hollywood. He's already revealed some of the artists he's working with on the album, including The Weeknd, Miley Cyrus and Adele, while he's released just one (possible) album cut, "Look Into My Eyes." Although the updates on the album have been a little slow lately, we got to speak to Wiz about the whole concept of 'Blacc Hollywood.'
The team over at Sole Clinics came through big time with this carbon fiber Air Jordan 11 custom. The all-black colorway looks super smooth, swapping the iconic patent leather for a more rugged carbon fiber. Despite losing it's iconic patent leather, the sneaker doesn't miss a beat in terms of catching the eye.
Every workplace has them: the ones who are always whining, needing things their way, arguing with co-workers, getting suspended, goofing off, over-reacting, and generally acting immaturely. What we call these people might vary - from "Diva" to "That Asshole in Accounting", or something more personal and demeaning - but their childish antics can liven up any work environment.
As y'all know, Sundays are slow here at HNHH, which is reason enough to kill time with this completely arbitrary list.
This week we have two new-comers on Charts Don't Lie, the first being buzzing singer Jhene Aiko and the latter, veteran in the game, Bun B. Jhene Aiko pulled pretty good numbers for her debut EP, leaving us hopeful for what's to come from the West Coast native.
Underrated Audio is here to provide you with choice cuts from the past week that seemed to be over-looked by the average viewer-- meaning they didn't get as many views as they deserved. This week we've got six tracks spanning the genres of r'n'b and hip-hop, including one that's not necessarily either.
In 1993 West coast Hip Hop was at the top of its game. Suge Knight, The D.O.C, and Dr. Dre had formed the now infamous record label Death Row Records. The new label had released Dre’s album The Chronic (1992) to huge fan fare, solidified G -Funk as a proper Hip Hop style (sorry Too $hort), and were quickly becoming the most important players in the game. So what was left to do?
Repetition remains a reality in the rap game, and specific bars tend to get overlooked. This is an opportunity to take a closer listen and really consider what these artists have to say. We encourage your opinions.

For rappers, having a dope ride is more than just a mode of transportation. Yes, it does mean no more riding the bus. But purchasing a brand new whip is symbolic of their rise to the top. Bugattis, Chevrolet Impalas, Aston Martins, and more luxury vehicles come with a hefty pricetag. If you can afford it, you’re probably living the life.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid in Black/Gym Red/Metallic Gold is available now at select Jordan accounts including Caliroots for $150. The upper is predominately constructed of a black tumbled leather with metallic gold donning the toe box, swoosh, and ankle collar. In todays day in age of the internet and online shopping, you can never be too sure what you're getting until you have it in your hands. This is a particularly scary process for sneakerheads, who often pay well over retail for sneakers via the internet.Thankfully, stores like Flight Club exist.
