A Grammy producer just got called out on Twitter by none other than Ariana Grande. Ken Ehrlich stated the singer pulled out of performing at the Grammy ceremony because she couldn't "pull something together" on time. Grande disputed these facts, letting him know that she's capable of whipping together a stand-out performance in one night and exposed him for allegedly lying on her name.
"i’ve kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me," Ariana Grande wrote on Twitter. "can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken. it was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend. i hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more."
Ariana Grande continued to blast the Grammys over their preference for politics over art, claiming the music artists passionately create is turned into a game.
"i offered 3 different songs. it’s about collaboration. it’s about feeling supported. it’s about art and honesty. not politics. not doing favors or playing games. it’s just a game y’all.. and i’m sorry but that’s not what music is to me," she wrote.
Reports that Grande would not be attending the ceremony first surfaced earlier this week. Reports said that the producers shut down Grande's attempt to perform "7 Rings" as part of her medley. After finally agreeing to let her perform the track, they said that the second song would be their choice which reportedly prompted the singer to pull out entirely.
