Today is a bittersweet moment in the history of the entertainment industry as the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, has announced her retirement. According to a report from WDIV 4, the singer plans to slow things down majorly this year.
Franklin told reporters that she will release her final album in September and go on a short tour following the release of the project. The legendary singer also mentioned that Stevie Wonder will have a hand in the production on the project saying,"Of course, several of the songs are going to be produced by Stevie (Wonder), and of course there's only one Stevie, right?"
