Metro Boomin decided to set the rumors on fire Monday evening when he sent out a cryptic tweet suggesting that he & fellow What A Time To Be Alive rappers, Drake & Future, are hitting the studio together again later this week.
“last year on my birthday we were in the studio working on jumpman so I guess it's only right to keep the tradition going this week too lol,” Metro tweeted. Now of course this could simply just be him saying he's hitting the studio to work on music for his birthday, but with words like “it’s only right to keep the tradition going,” it’s got fans believing that Drake & Future are joining him in efforts to cook up another collab.
For what it's worth, the timing works out perfectly as well as Drake & Future are both wrapping up their “Summer Sixteen” Tour this week, so the likely hood of the trio hitting the studio together does add up & make sense. Later, Metro also tweeted a picture of himself in the studio, along with the caption “album time.”
Remember, nothing here is for certain and just wishful thinking at the moment, but man who wouldn't want to see another Future, Drake x Boomin collab? Peep the tweet (below) and let us know what you think he meant by it.
