Appleby is currently preparing his debut EP, which will be produced entirely by Elias Abid, and titled Down Dance-- also the title the two have given their signature style of music. "Castles" is set to be track 2 on the project, and follows suit with the name Appleby has given his sound, featuring a solid groove that never fully breaks into a conventionally danceable tempo, instead keeping things at the brink throughout, and as a result should prove difficult not to catch the rhythm of the record by about halfway though.

The shiny synth sounds recalls Chance The Rapper and the Social Experiment's work with Lido, combining Chicago's various dance and hip-hop sounds to create something very special.

Looking at the colors, they could rule the skies
But judging by the grey, they could sure divide
'Cause every problem in the shade only multiplies
