Self-described MTLien Wasiu is one of the more exciting voices come out of Montreal, Quebec, and on "The Landing," he's revealed further dimensions to his sound. Teaming with Apashe, an EDM producer and fellow Montrealer, Wasiu has created an apocalyptic theme for his new record, rapping over some pummelling synth brass that recalls the work of TNGHT.

To match the armageddon themes of the record, Wasiu looked to The Book of Revelations for lyrical inspiration. At the same time, he pulled from the horrifying real life events of today, addressing the fears that come with the unjust police killings of black men across America, drawing narration of a Black Messiah.

The song will appear on Apashe's forthcoming project, Copter Boy.

Quotable Lyrics:
The game explosive
Grab my shoulders
I'm about to blow shit
Catch a free ride on the motion
Like a stolen Opus
