It's been a rollercoaster last few weeks for New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis. The news was leaked that he wanted out of NOLA and was hoping to end up with the Los Angeles Lakers. The trade deadline came and went and Davis was still with the Pelicans. In the aftermath of that, Davis was told he would be getting less playing time. This weekend is the All-Star game and Davis was set to star in it, however, after getting injured during the team's win against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night, Davis may have to miss the showcase, according to ESPN.

After running into Nerlens Noel of the Thunder, Davis was favoring his right shoulder and eventually had an MRI which revealed a muscle contusion. While it is seen to be a minor injury, it could jeopardize his ability to play in Charlotte this weekend.

Another Davis injury could mean bad news for the Pelicans who are hoping to keep AD healthy going into the offseason. If the team wants to get a trade done, they'll want him at his maximum value.
