Alex Wiley has been building a loyal following through his experimental and unique style, giving us yet another side of his abilities with "For Sunny," a primarily-sung record. It's not exactly out of the ordinary for rappers to break out some melodies these days, but Wiley delivers his hooks in a distinct way that separates him from his peers.
The verses find him skipping over the psychedelic beat, breaking out some variants on common Chicago flows, but always infusing them with plenty of personality. As far as we know, this one is just a loosie, but we're hoping to get a new project from Wiley soon enough.
