We just heard from Mick Jenkins earlier today, when he delivered the new mixtape leak "Free Nation Rebel Soldier Pt. 2" and he's come up again, this time discussing his collaboration for Alex Wiley's new single "Own Man."
In the video, courtesy of Closed Sessions, we hear from both Alex Wiley and Mick Jenkins on the creation of the record. As it turns own, Wiley had "Own Man" in the vault for a few months, unfinished, before Mick hopped on it and led to its completion.
The song will appear on Wiley's forthcoming sophomore project Village Party due out later this year.
