In addition to the new "Olympics" Air Jordan 1 and the returning "Banned" Air Jordan 1, Jordan Brand is rolling out two pairs of the "Premium Essentials" Air Jordan 1s this weekend.
The yin yang themed kicks feature alternating colorways of white and black with matching red "Nike Air" tabs on the tongues. Of all the Air Jordan 1s releasing later this year, this "Premium Essentials" collection might be the cleanest of them all- especially that white pair.
As we've said time and again, keeping it simple is often what works best and that goes double for the iconic Air Jordan 1 silhouette.
A release date has officially been pegged for this Saturday, August 6th, the kicks will retail for $160.
Select Foot Locker locations will be implementing a raffle system for the kicks so check out their launch locator to find out how your local stores will be handling the release.
Per Foot Locker:
Tickets will be given out for the shoe you have selected on Monday, August 1st and Tuesday, August 2nd. Limit one ticket per customer. You must have a valid photo ID to receive a ticket. If your ticket number is drawn you will be notified by phone on Wednesday, August 3rd or Thursday, August 4th. If your ticket number is drawn you must be at the store on Saturday, August 6th between store opening time and 6:00 p.m. local time to purchase the shoe. You must have the ticket and show a valid photo ID that matches the name on the list in order to purchase the shoe. Any shoe not purchased by the 6:00 p.m. deadline will be forfeited.
