If you were surprised to see Flatbush Zombies perform on Fallon last month, get a load of this. Legendary underground MC Aesop Rock took "The Late Show" state last night to perform with celebrated indie band Yo La Tengo.
Aesop performed "Dorks," an inquisition of the music industry, which he eloquently describes as a "mess of obnoxious fantasy, posturing and pageantry." The song appears on his new album The Impossible Kid, considered by many critics and fans to be his best work to date.
Aesop Rock been in the game for 20 years... about time he hit the late night talk show circuit.
