It can be hard to keep track of all the adidas Originals off-shoots that have been appearing. SST is an adidas Originals line that blends the brand’s athletic roots with its connection to streetwear, and it just dropped its latest lookbook for Spring/Summer 2017.
Inspired by adidas’ iconic Superstar sneaker silhouette, the collection takes classic sportswear and gives them a rugged, streetwear edge. A lot of the clothes are a bit oversized for a chunky look, and although most of the items have some kind of performance fabric there are still streetwear staples like the denim jacket and extended parka. The ribbed sweatshirts look pretty solid as well, but we’re not sold on the super baggy jeans. Maybe we were onto something when we asked if baggy pants should come back as a look?
The collection drops at select Adidas locations and online on February 1. Adidas Originals continues to push the boundaries.
