Chinese New Year is just around the corner, beginning on February 8, and sneaker brands are getting in on the action as usual. Adidas has created a three-sneaker “Year of the Rooster” pack that celebrates this year’s Zodiac animal.
The pack includes Stan Smith, Superstar and Tubular Radial silhouettes, mixing the classic, the trendy and the new school so there’s something for everyone. Each sneaker is made up of predominantly black leather with chalk-white outsole and midsole. The rooster styling comes int he form of a multicolored embroidered rooster on the back outer heel of each shoe. The heel of each shoe also incorporates feathery leather texture to further tie in the rooster theme.
The shoe is rolling out now to retailers, with some overseas retailers like Titolo already getting them in stock. Keep your eyes peeled for these to hit your local sneaker boutique.
