LL Cool J detained a burglar in his house this past week, and broke his nose, jaw and ribs, additional reports say.

Earlier this week we reported the news on LL Cool J taking down a burglar in his own home, although not many details were available.

Now CNN adds additional reporting, revealing that the intruder suffered a broken nose, jaw and ribs at the hands of LL. 

The intruder, Jonathan Kirby, 56, may be facing life in prison from his attempted burglary, because of previous convictions. Kirby has been charged with first degree burglary as a "third striker," which means he could face 38 years to life in prison. 

The Los Angeles County District Attorney is asking for bail to be set at $1.1 million.
