The last time Adamn Killa was featured on the site was for "Ten," his chilling collab with Yung Lean and Shlohmo. He's now back with a new joint project, entitled Mr 650, with fellow Chicagoan DP Beats, a frequent collaborator of Chief Keef's who's scored recent beats with Ty Dolla $ign and Lil Uzi Vert. Adamn is coming out of the South Side with a forward-thinking sound; drill is an immediate inspiration but his melodic flows are soothing even when the content is aggressive. DP Beats operates with a similar vision, letting meditative synths carry his skittering street-situated 808s. This idiosyncratic brand of flexing is irresistible. There are no features on Mr 650; none are needed.
