Ab-Soul Criticizes XXL's Magazine Cover For Headline "Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy"

Ab-Soul asks publications to stop printing "Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy," threatening to leave the group if it continues.

The Black Hippy crew, consisting of Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul, are featured on the new XXL cover. You may have noticed though, that the cover headline says "With Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy...TDE Rap's Illest Crew," thus making it seem like Black Hippy is a separate entity from K. Dot.

Ab-Soul took a particular disliking to this, and sent out a tweet asking publications to stop referring to the group as "Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy," and threatening to leave the group if it continued (although we would hope that's an empty threat). Soulo criticized, "If y'all keep printing "Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy" I will remove myself from the group. Thanks."
