In the wake of Aaron Hernandez's suicide, details have continued to come out regarding the three handwritten letters he left in his prison cell before taking his life, including rumors that he left a note for his "gay lover."

Additionally, rumors were circulating that Hernandez also left a $50,000 watch to an inmate named Kyle Kennedy, who has reportedly been on suicide watch since Aaron Hernandez's death.

Hernandez's lawyer, Jose Baez, has responded to those allegations as false, claiming the third letter was addressed to him and that his client did not leave any sort of message for any fellow inmates.

Baez released the following statement, according to TMZ,

"Rumors of letters to a gay lover, in or out of prison, are false. These are malicious leaks used to tarnish somebody who is dead."
