At Your Best (Cover)
In honor of Aaliyah’s birthday which was on Friday (she would’ve been 36 btw), Frank Ocean decided to take to his Tumblr Page and pay homage with a cover of her 1994 record “At Your Best” (itself a cover of The Isley Brothers' 1976 track "At Your Best [You Are Love]").

We Need A Resolution
Aaliyah Feat. Timbaland

Rock The Boat (Brother Bruno Rework)
January 16th found many of us reflecting on Aaliyah's timeless body of work, Brother Bruno being one of them. The electronic producer decided to put a new spin on one of the R&B legends definitive cuts, adding a breezy nostalgia to "Rock The Boat" with the tasteful addition of some warm synths. Quotable lyrics:
Balance Feat. Erk tha Jerk, J Stalin & Rayven Justice
Balance links up with Erk Tha Jerk, J Stalin, and Rayven Justice for his new track, "Stroke". The Traxamillion-produced cut flips Aaliyah's classic slow jam, "Rock The Boat", somewhat sacred territory, as we've seen even the usually untouchable Drake criticized for messing with the singer's canon. The sample is done quite tastefully however, and should get the okay from Aaliyah fans. Balance's Now Or Never album is dropping in March. Check out the first single, Strait To It (Prod. By Shonuff) if you haven't already.
With Monday marking the 13th year anniversary of Aaliyah’s unfortunate passing, Thr33zy decided to pay homage and release this new record called “Aaliyah's Song”. With production being handled by Kalby, Thr33zy decides to put his touch on the Aaliyah classic “Rock The Boat”, and deliver his own rendition in memory. It follows up his most recent release “Don’t Sleep”, which just dropped a few weeks back.

Like This #13 Years
Thirteen years ago today, R&B (and music in general) lost one of its brightest stars when Aaliyah, age 22 at the time, tragically perished in a plane crash. Tributes have been plentiful at this point, but allow Raven Sorvino to mark this specific anniversary with "Like This #13 Years," a remake of the Princess of R&B's "I Don't Wanna."
Rick Ross Feat. Aaliyah & Ne-Yo
Bump She Crazy, the latest cut from Rick Ross featuring Aaliyah & Ne-Yo on the assist. It was released on Friday, December 24th, 2010. Things are improving for Rick Ross with each new offering, and She Crazy is certainly no exception. It's a worthy addition to the Rick Ross's catalogue, which has seen much evolution as of late. We're definitely anticipating the next step.
