Guillermo F. Maatsen better know as ZaCairo is a 22 year old independent upcoming rap-artist born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (EUROPE). His mother is from The Netherlands and his dad from Surinam. He was raised with a lot of music surrounding him because of the fact his dad was a DJ at the neighbourhood chill-spot. At the age of 13 he started writing lyrics and his best friend Will arranged a show for him at "Freedom Festival" but only at the age of 16 he realized he really wanted to be a part of the music-scene. ZaCairo was one of the members of the local rap-group Blaque Flamez, they had a great hype, been on national television but at the end everybody decided to do his own thing. So he started a new group called Diz Trikt (with former members FS Green, Hayzee & DJ Game Ova) but that didn't work out either cause FS & Hayzee wanted to focus more on producing. 2006 is the year ZaCairo started to record his first mixtape called "The Neighbourhood FlyGuy" mixed by his good friend Kella Black. This tape had 5 tracks and one of them was a disstrack called "Part-Time Mc's" for all the rappers in the came that wasn't taking it serious. This song became a local radiohit!! In the summer of 2007 he made a new promo-tape called "Stop The Fucking Press" recorded at Fero's Studios in Amsterdam. Of this new tape he made his first two video's "It's Yah Bwoy Z-A" and "I'm A Paperchaser ft. Brownie Dutch". After his underground succes of this tape ZaCairo did a lot of shows in Germany, like support acts of Lil Scrappy, Young Bloodz etc. Because of the fact the whole music industry had a lot of ups and downs and a lot of backstabbers, ZaCairo was thinking about to give all his music up in 2008. But thanks to a lot of friends and family around him that motivated him to go further. And he decided to get himself together in 2009 so he could make a new start in 2010. That's how he created his new team called "ONE F.A.M.E." this stands for One Family Against Most Enemies. ZaCairo has a new tape planned for 2010 called "On A Whole 'Nother Level". 2010 will be a year full of surprises cause as he already said on his new track "This time yeah it's all about me!!!"
