Jewone Franklin (aka Yung Monsta) was born on March 02, 1989 in the city of Youngstown, OH. This is where he developed a love for rap music by being around his older brother Art Ward. Like any younger brother Jewone latched onto his older brother and started listening to all of his favorite rap artists such as: Outkast, Jay Z, Cash Money, 50 cent, and Ruff Ryders. This inspired Jewone to try and emulate his role models. Every sunday in church when he couldn't bring a notebook he would write on the programs for hours making songs. By the time Jewone turned 17-18 he had already established a name by free styling threw the high school hallways and lunch rooms, but his talent would soon be recognized by one of his older brothers friends Charles "Chip Banks" Colvin. When that took place everything for the young teenager began to be about music.
