After hitting us with a trailer to increase the anticipation and excitement for No Ceilings 2 last night, Weezy F returns this afternoon with a tracklist, so we know it's real. The highly anticipated mixtape will serve as a follow-up to the much-beloved first No Ceilings, and thus it's got quite a reputation to live up too. The tracklist is stacked though, so let's hope Weezy didn't spare quality for quantity.

Bryan "Birdman" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams founded Cash Money Records over twenty years ago. New Orleans rap collective the Hot Boys were one of Cash Money's earliest successes, which has since turned into perhaps the flashiest label of them all. In 2005, former Hot Boy Lil Wayne created his own CMR imprint, Young Money Entertainment. Young Money released their debut album We Are Young Money in 2009, which featured hits like "We Be Steady Mobbin" and "Bed Rock". Following the album's release, solo careers of Tyga, Nicki Minaj, and Drake took off.

Tyga Says Young Money Is "Holding Me Hostage," Threatens To Leak Album Oct 10, 2014 at 05:33pm
Tyga is not happy. In a series of tweets fired off just minutes ago, the Young Money (for now) rapper said his album's "been done, and that his label is "holding [him] hostage." He repped his Last Kings brand, quoted 2Pac and responded to Mack Maine in the series of tweets, which you can view below. Gold album been done. my label holding me hostage so i can't release nothing. might just leak it for my fans then let them make $ off it.

Young Money are getting to launch their new compilation, Rise Of An Empire on March 11th, and while we are still yet to see the promised "Senile" single, the project now has an official tracklist. Outside of "Senile", and the singles we are already familar with ("We Alright", "Trophies", "Lookin Ass"), the comp is mainly a spotlight for the less prominent artists on the label. Wayne does show up for one solo track on the back half of the album, however. Elsewhere, we get songs billed to Lil Twist, Gudda Gudda, Shanell, and newcomer, Euro.

Lil Wayne has had a tougher year than anyone. Carter V has officially reached Detox status, and though he's promised the Free Weezy Album, we're not waiting up at night for that either. The sad part is, none of it seems to be his fault. Today, however, we got "Glory," a brand new Weezy single, premiered exclusively on TIDAL.
A Complete Timeline Of Lil Wayne & Birdman's Beef
A Complete Timeline Of Lil Wayne & Birdman's Beef Jul 21, 2015 at 09:24am
Even as little as nine months ago, no one would have really expected Birdman and Lil Wayne to beef. The two Cash Money titans had a bond that seemed more powerful than your run-of-the-mill rapper/CEO relationship, with their father/son dynamic even birthing an album of its own earlier in the 2000s, and a sense of loyalty that seemed out-of-character for Birdman, at least when you considered his relationships with other Cash Money artists.
Lil Wayne Will Do An Album After "Carter V" For $25-35 Million
Lil Wayne Will Do An Album After "Carter V" For $25-35 Million Mar 12, 2014 at 08:03pm
Lil Wayne has stated that Tha Carter V will be his final solo album, but fans have been split on whether to believe his claim. The Young Money leader made similar promises before Tha Carter IV was released, yet he's continued to release music since. In a new interview with MTV, Weezy was clear that his claims are to be taken seriously-- unless of course, there's some money on the table. "25 to 35 million would get me to do another solo album after this," he said, adding with sincerity, "I didn't smile when I said that."
Birdman Wishes Lil Wayne Happy Birthday
Birdman Wishes Lil Wayne Happy Birthday Sep 27, 2015 at 11:03pm
Today, (Sept. 27) Lil Wayne turned 33, and as a good father should, Birdman wished his son a happy birthday. We expect that he wasn't able to do so in person, though, as the two are still in the middle of a $51 million lawsuit that Wayne first brought against Stunna in January.  Though Birdman is content to continue calling Wayne his son, maintaining that nothing can bring them apart, Wayne is yet to say anything that would imply his feelings have changed since he first called himself a "prisoner" of Cash Money.
A History Of YMCMB Label Drama
A History Of YMCMB Label Drama Feb 17, 2015 at 06:18pm
Cash Money is an indisputable empire, and at the helm, sits Birdman--and, behind the scenes, his brother Slim. In its nearly 25 years of existence, Cash Money has become one of the most successful hip-hop labels of all-time, though many of its living legends look back on their Cash Money days with disdain. When Cash Money and Young Money joined forces, the empire looked to be unstoppable. Now, it looks as though they'll split apart or crumble together. The recent grievances aired by YMCMB's biggest star aren't the first.
