Young Money/Cash Money: The Complete Current Roster
Bryan "Birdman" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams founded Cash Money Records over twenty years ago. New Orleans rap collective the Hot Boys were one of Cash Money's earliest successes, which has since turned into perhaps the flashiest label of them all. In 2005, former Hot Boy Lil Wayne created his own CMR imprint, Young Money Entertainment. Young Money released their debut album We Are Young Money in 2009, which featured hits like "We Be Steady Mobbin" and "Bed Rock". Following the album's release, solo careers of Tyga, Nicki Minaj, and Drake took off.

A Complete Timeline Of Lil Wayne & Birdman's Beef
Even as little as nine months ago, no one would have really expected Birdman and Lil Wayne to beef. The two Cash Money titans had a bond that seemed more powerful than your run-of-the-mill rapper/CEO relationship, with their father/son dynamic even birthing an album of its own earlier in the 2000s, and a sense of loyalty that seemed out-of-character for Birdman, at least when you considered his relationships with other Cash Money artists.

Young Money are getting to launch their new compilation, Rise Of An Empire on March 11th, and while we are still yet to see the promised "Senile" single, the project now has an official tracklist. Outside of "Senile", and the singles we are already familar with ("We Alright", "Trophies", "Lookin Ass"), the comp is mainly a spotlight for the less prominent artists on the label. Wayne does show up for one solo track on the back half of the album, however. Elsewhere, we get songs billed to Lil Twist, Gudda Gudda, Shanell, and newcomer, Euro.

In a new interview with MTV, Weezy was clear that his claims are to be taken seriously-- unless of course, there's some money on the table. Birdman Wishes Lil Wayne Happy Birthday
Today, (Sept. 27) Lil Wayne turned 33, and as a good father should, Birdman wished his son a happy birthday. We expect that he wasn't able to do so in person, though, as the two are still in the middle of a $51 million lawsuit that Wayne first brought against Stunna in January. Though Birdman is content to continue calling Wayne his son, maintaining that nothing can bring them apart, Wayne is yet to say anything that would imply his feelings have changed since he first called himself a "prisoner" of Cash Money.
Review: Lil Wayne's "No Ceilings 2"
After announcing his retirement via a poem the other night, Kobe Bryant took the court to face the Indiana Pacers for the second-to-last time in his career. He alternated between flashes of brilliance and moments that made his decision seem logical, ending up with a 13-point performance that was far cry from his glory days, but respectable for your run-of-the-mill NBA starter.
