YdotC aka Young C was born and raised in Botswana and began rapping at the age of 12. His very first freestyle was to R. Kelly’s track ‘Fiesta’, and a hunger to become a better MC grew from then on. Without having access to a studio, YdotC would record over cassette tapes to perfect his flow and delivery. In 2008, YdotC made the decision to pursue his dream and started to record professionally. YdotC recollects Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Nas, and Busta Rhymes as his greatest influences within Hip Hop. In November 2011, YdotC released his debut mixtape ‘’ The Prognosis ‘’ hosted by DJ Mixmaster G which received good reviews online. On September 10th, YdotC will release his EP called ‘’ Psychosis Diagnosis’’ via Villanore Records for free download.
