Ty Dolla $ign & Wiz Khalifa
From "Or Nah" to their Talk About It In The Morning EP, it's clear that Ty Dolla $ign and Wiz Khalifa are a winning combination. As a result, we couldn't help but skip straight to "Brand New" off of the brand new TGOD Volume 1 mixtape, which showcases the growing roster of artists in Wiz's crew.
Talk That Talk
Juicy J Feat. Wiz Khalifa & Project Pat
Juicy J just dropped his #MUSTBENICE mixtape, which is pretty stacked with features including Jeremih, Que, Gucci Mane, Peewee Longway, Young Dolph, and 21 Savage. Wiz Khalifa and Project Pat, some of Juicy's most regular collaborators also show up on "Talk That Talk," one of the few records not handled by a member of 808 Mafia, instead enlisting regular Pat beatmaker Lil Awree.
Wiz Khalifa Feat. JR Donato
Netflix original "Stranger Things" has captured America's imagination since it debuted in July. After wrapping up his High Road tour, Wiz Khalifa had time to catch up on the show, and evidently was so smitten that he decided to make a song called "Stranger Things." Wiz's "Stranger Things" samples the the show's opening theme, scored by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein. It's unclear if Netflix paid Wiz to put out this song or if Wiz made it of his own accord. In any rate, give it a listen and share your thoughts in the comments.
Tove Lo Feat. Wiz Khalifa
Swedish singer Tove Lo has achieved global stardom thanks to her brooding yet danceable jams, most notably "Habits (Stay High)." She has wisely aligned herself with a handful of the hippest electronic producers on the planet. On "Influence," her new single off her upcoming sophomore album Lady Wood, she taps an unlikely collaborator in Wiz Khalifa.
Black Eyed Peas Feat. The World
The Black Eyed Peas' 2003 single "Where is the Love?" is one of the most popular songs of the millenium. With humanity still hurting, Will.I.Am and the gang have engineered a remix called "#WHERESTHELOVE" featuring 50+ celebrities, including Quincy Jones, Justin Timberlake, A$AP Rocky, Mary J.
Wiz Khalifa & Chevy Woods Feat. Casey Veggies
While out on the road this Summer for the “High Road Tour,” Taylor Gang’s own Wiz Khalifa & Chevy Woods decided to join forces with special guest Casey Veggies and record this new song together called “Gang Gang.”
You In Mind
Curren$y Feat. Wiz Khalifa
To celebrate the 7-year anniversary of Currensy & Wiz Khalifa’s How Fly mixtape, the New Orleans spitta decided to come through today and treat fans with a new song called “You In Mind.”
On twitter the other day, Wiz Khalifa teased the possible release of two records, one he touted as a Taylor Gang cut and one as a "Khalifa man" cut.
Wiz Khalifa, Chevy Woods & Tuki Carter
Wiz Khalifa took to twitter this afternoon to drop off a new Taylor Gang mini-posse cut. The rapper tweeted "When all else fails. New Music." Can't complain about that.
JoJo Feat. Wiz Khalifa
JoJo is no longer the teen sensation with whom America fell in love back ten years ago. But her new single "Fuck Apologies" follows in the spirit of her breakout hit "Too Little, Too Late" -- namely a certain lack of remorse about dumping her now ex-boyfriend. In the words of Wiz Khalifa, who joins JoJo to give the single some juice, "I ain't apologizing for shit." "Fuck Apologies" is a well-crafted pop song and the lead single from JoJo's next album Mad Love, which isn't due out until October 14th. Give it a listen and share your thoughts in the comments.
Wit The Kids
Wiz Khalifa has actually released a fair amount of music lately.
Jeremih Feat. Wiz Khalifa & K Camp
While we patiently await for Jeremih’s newly-announced Late Nights: Europe mixtape to arrive, which should be in the next hour or so (fingers crossed), the Chicago crooner decides to hold us over in the meantime with a new track off the tape called “Dubai” featuring Wiz Khalifa & K Camp. Looking to fuck shit up, listen as the trio deliver a lowkey club banger that's perfect for your Summertime playlist. Hit play and let us know who laid down the best verse?
Wiz Khalifa told us that he had new music coming this week, and he definitely wasn’t lying. Following up his unreleased cut with Currensy that surfaced a couple days ago called “Situations”, Wiz decides to kick off the weekend by dropping off a new song called “No Fighting.”
Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa
Over a year ago, Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa dropped a song called "Uber Driver" and announced a joint project called #2009. Curren$y and Wiz have shared virtually zero details or songs from the project since then -- until last night when Spitta posted a #2009 "cutting room floor item" called "Situations."
Amid some back-and-forth suing between Wiz Khalifa and former record label Rostrum Records, Wiz continues to keep the fans happy. Yesterday he dropped off his latest 'DayToday' vlog, and this morning he's quickly followed that up with a new leak on Soundcloud, "Mismatch." We've seen Wiz try a lot of different styles through out his ever-evolving rap career, but he always sounds most at home over this kind of production.
Curren$y Feat. Wiz Khalifa
Starting off the week correct, Curren$y dropped off his new EP Stoned On Ocean. The free EP was only announced last week, with the release coming as a surprise late this afternoon. The project is entirely produced by legendary duo Cool & Dre, so you know you're about to get some smooth beats.
Sucker For Pain
Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons, Logic & Ty Dolla $ign Feat. X Ambassadors
The highly anticipated "Suicide Squad" movie also has a pretty anticipated soundtrack to go along with it-- we recently got a look at the tracklist, which is stacked with appearances from Lil Wayne, Kevin Gates, Action Bronson, Kehlani, Eminem, Grimes, Rick Ross and many more.
More And More
One of the most memorable tracks on Wiz Khalifa's classic mixtape, Kush & OJ, was the spacey ballad, "Up," an effectively stripped down take on his sound that showcased his Max B influence more than ever. He's rarely revisited that style, but his new track, "More and More," comes close. There is a drum a track this time around, but Wiz's vocal delivery is as psychedelic as ever, with traces of flanger and delay on his backing vocals.
2 Times (Remix)
Famous Dex Feat. Wiz Khalifa & Rich The Kid
If you've been following rising Chicago rapper Famous Dex at all, you're already very familiar with "2 Times". The video for the track, which was released in September 2015, has over 5 million views on YouTube. Though it's far from new, Dex is freshening up the record, releasing a remix today with Wiz Khalifa and Rich The Kid (whose Rich Forever Music label Dex is currently signed to). The song happens to be a light tribute to Gucci Mane, who released the Gucci 2x mixtape a few years back, and still features declarations of "Free Gucci!" despite the Trap God's recent release.
Snoop Dogg Feat. Wiz Khalifa
Snoop Dogg is back today with another release off his forthcoming Cool Aid album, which arrives on July 1. After debuting the Swizz Beatz-produced record “Fireworks” last week on Jimmy Kimmel, the West Coast legend decides to return with his marijuana brethren Wiz Khalifa for a new single called “Kush Ups.”
