Bay Area resident, Taylor Gang repper/rapper, and #CookiesKing Berner finally comes through today with his anticipated album Hempire. The album's singles have been top-notch, and we expect nothing less than greatness from the entire thing. Hempire is 18 tracks long with an impressive list of features: Snoop Dogg, B-Real, Wiz Khalifa, Mistah FAB, Cozmo, Smiggz, K. Camp. Lil' Kim, Quez, Atmosphere, Young Dolph, Project Pat, Maejor, Strap, and Freeze.

TM88 landed beats on both Juice's From O's to Oscars as well as Wiz' Cabin Fever 3, and all three of them linked up for "Bake Sale," the lead single off Khalifa, the album Wiz dropped last month. It now seems fans have only begun to reap the benefits of the partnership between the Atlanta "horror trap" maestro and the two Taylor Gang executives.

When Wiz Khalifa dropped Kush & Orange Juice, college kids around the country decided to skip class, load up the bong and start the day off like Wiz starts his mixtape: with some "Waken Baken." That entire project was made for an early afternoon with a tall glass of Tropicana and some greenery. It's full of moments that embrace that sun-drenched, airy vibe that Wiz boasted when he started coming up.

After the excitement of new projects from Kevin Gates, Future, Young Thug, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, French Montana, and Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz, we seem to have hit a bit of a lull three months into 2016. Views From The 6 is (hopefully) in sight for April, and A$AP Ferg and ILoveMakonnen both should have new material out in the next few weeks, but March is definitely looking like a down month for hip hop's upper echelon.

Earlier this week, Troy Ave continued even further down the path of making his career double as a masterclass in wildly misguided beefing, taking aim at the deceased Capital STEEZ on a Joey Bada$$ diss track.

The Billboard Chart saw a new number one this week in the form of Future, whose album EVOL is currently the top-selling album in the country. Apparently rolling it out on DJ Khaled's radio show wasn't such a bad idea, as the record has sold nearly 100k in its first week. Making way for Future's climb to the top is Rihanna, who slipped from #1 to #3 this week.

Tired of hearing about The Life Of Pablo yet? Kanye West's highly anticipated album only dropped about 36 hours ago, but its eventual release was preceded by several days of frustrated waiting, as his haphazard release strategy continued (and may still be ongoing) with a series of remixing, tracklist updates, and delays. Annoying, yes, but you have to admit that the guy knows how to keep himself in the daily conversation for longer than nearly anyone in our era of short attention spans.
Review: Wiz Khalifa's "Khalifa"
Review: Wiz Khalifa's "Khalifa" Feb 9, 2016 at 07:45pm
As time continues to edge its way further, a rapper's career seems to warp underneath the passing moments. For some, greater success or second stages have come to them only after years of hard work. Others have stagnated, or maybe the years have just caught up to the reality of their talent. Wiz Khalifa isn't one of those rappers, because quite frankly, one might say that beyond his family life, not one aspect of Wiz has changed in so many years.

Future proved that he could drop an album like a mixtape and still sell upwards of 100,000 copies first week with DS2, and he's now continued that trend with EVOL. The rapper's latest project, released shortly after his free Purple Reign mixtape is projected to sell 110-115,00 copies, (145-150k with streams). It will definitely put him in the running for the #1 spot next week.

Wiz Khalifa may have made headlines this past week when he and Kanye West had some choice words for one another on twitter, but what better timing for all that to go down than just days before the release of his new album Khalifa.

Max B Calls The Breakfast Club To Give His Thoughts On Kanye West's "WAVES" Feb 3, 2016 at 11:52am
Max B, who has been incarcerated on murder charges since 2009, reentered the spotlight last week when Kanye West changed the name of his album to WAVES. Max B, of course, is the originator of "the wave," and Kanye's change riled up a horde of Max B fans, most notably from Wiz Khalifa, who tweeted, "Please don't take the wave."
Kanye West & Wiz Khalifa Had A "Positive" Conversation Yesterday
Kanye West & Wiz Khalifa Had A "Positive" Conversation Yesterday Feb 2, 2016 at 04:07pm
It's been a wild ride since Kanye West announced his new album title last week, quickly turning into a heated Twitter altercation between Ye and Wiz Khalifa. After a few days have gone by with no shots thrown by either party, Kanye has announced that the two have spoken, and it sounds like things are good between the two rappers once again. Me and Wiz spoke yesterday. Great convo. All positive.
Kanye West Says He'll "Never Speak On Kids Again"
Kanye West Says He'll "Never Speak On Kids Again" Jan 30, 2016 at 11:03am
It's been a weird week on Kanye West's Twitter, but things may finally be winding down. Things got crazy when he rapper decided to respond to Wiz Khalifa's criticism of his album title, which then opened up a tirade on Amber Rose, Wiz's son, Bash, and recently had 'Ye getting defensive about 'butt stuff' accusations. Intermittently throughout his self-described "petty" tweets, Kanye would fall back to the word of God, which is exactly how he bounced back from tweeting about assplay last night.

After the Twitter mess that ensued yesterday, you knew someone was gonna be hit with Charlamagne's notorious "Donkey of the Day" snub this morning, and that someone was Mr. West.

Kanye West probably doesn't care, but in the process of brutalizing Wiz Khalifa on Twitter yesterday he offended a few people. Okay, he definitely doesn't care. Either way, former porn star Lisa Ann (of "Nailin' Palin" fame, among other works) hit up Twitter to let loose a few details about Kanye West that we might not know about.
Wiz Khalifa Yells "Fuck Kanye!" At Concert In Argentina
Wiz Khalifa Yells "Fuck Kanye!" At Concert In Argentina Jan 28, 2016 at 10:01am
Aside from complimenting Wiz Khalifa's height and taste in pants during his epic Twitter tirade yesterday, Kanye West had only bad things to say about Wiz. He accused him of stealing Kid Cudi's style, called his music "corny as fuck," and declared that he owns Wiz's infant son before deleting his tweets and preaching "positive energy." Shit was crazy.
