All the actors/actresses in FOX's hit drama soap opera are getting themselves a piece of the limelight, and becoming pop stars in the process-- from the raps of Hakeem (remember "Drip Drop" from season one?) to those of Lucious Lyons, to the catchy pop riffs from Rihanna-esque singer Tiana Brown.

140 Bars: Top Tweets Of the Week (July 4 - 10) Jul 10, 2015 at 07:52pm
Does social media inherently make everyone more petty? That's the question that this edition of "140 Bars" begs, what with "beef" translating to snarky subs more and more these days. With a few exceptions-- all coming from the more successful artists on this list-- this week's tweets are salty, so better hope you're hydrated.

If you’re unfamiliar, “go-go” is a popular music sub-genre associated with funk that originated in the Washington, D.C. area. (Learn more about it here.)

Top 5 Miguel X Rapper Collabs
Top 5 Miguel X Rapper Collabs Jun 10, 2015 at 02:47pm
Miguel isn't the most prolific artist in R&B, but he's one of the most inimitable. As he's become an undeniable fashion icon and sex-symbol, he's still managed to evolve his sound with each subsequent record, sounding like the second-coming of Prince-- less dancey, but more sexy. He's an artist of his own breed, which is why we don't see him on features as much as most R&B artists, who get more hype off their guest appearances on rap albums than on their solo work.
Who Had The Better Verse: Wale Vs. Meek Mill
Who Had The Better Verse: Wale Vs. Meek Mill Jun 1, 2015 at 01:08pm
Rick Ross changed the landscape of rap when he forged his indomitable empire Maybach Music Group. His new signees, Wale and Meek Mill, were unproven commodities who simply needed a chance to thrive and eclipse expectations. Under Ross' tutelage, both artists have sculpted strong careers and have expanded their fanbases exponentially. Wale’s poetic ambiance fused with Meek’s rugged and street demeanor is what makes MMG go. When they’re both on a track, you’re almost guaranteed nothing but energy and fiery bars.

Who Had The Better Verse: Jay Z Vs. Kanye West
Who Had The Better Verse: Jay Z Vs. Kanye West Apr 27, 2015 at 03:37pm
Despite the fortuitous shift in the music industry, the status of Jay Z and Kanye West remains unblemished. For over a decade, Hov and Ye anchored the remaining bits of Roc-A-Fella by extinguishing rays of doubts with timeless material. Since Reasonable Doubt, nobody questioned Jay’s lyrical prowess. He embodies consistency and longevity. With a run similar to Jordan's, it’s easy to see why he’s pegged as an all-time great.
Ranking Wale's 4 Albums From Worst To Best
Ranking Wale's 4 Albums From Worst To Best Apr 15, 2015 at 01:26pm
For years, we have tried to decode the enigma that is Wale. Rather than being lauded for his gift of gab, he's been overshadowed by his shill cries for acceptance. You see, Wale always had the skills to be a special artist in hip-hop. Nobody questioned his motor in the booth. Nobody questioned his scintillating wordplay. We just wanted him to make the best music that we thought he was capable of making.  After being slapped with criticism by the hands of social media, he finally learned how to hit the mute button and focus on building himself up as an artist.
