- Hope For My City Feat. Stax
Vocal Union Bahamas started off as three young men by the name of Aaron Chandler (Ice Bwah), Ashton Chandler (Twin) and Christopher Rolle (Iya Hytez) sharing their love for music. Every Friday was seen as an opportunity for the music life, and rapping and singing was just a regular routine for these young men. Ice was the one to introduce the idea of them putting their skills to the test. Having Dj Twin as their producer; they realized that maybe they could do something with their talent and so a microphone was purchased and Vocal Union learned the music game in a matter of days. Their first song, "Holla At Me" (a remix of Tyga & Chris Brown's "Holla At Me"), not having the best quality, was posted upon Facebook in a matter of weeks and before you know it, we had one hundred likes in a matter of hours. This gave Vocal Union the encouragement to keep going strong. Presently expanded to a five member group, with the addition of Raymond "Ray" Dean and Julian "Rocket" Lord Jr. Vocal Union is considered as one of the best Bahamian groups, on Facebook, under the age of 18. With the knowledge and skills of Twin, the word magic of Ice, the magnificent flow of Iya Hytez, the smooth voice of Ray and the unique voice of Rocket, Vocal Union can not be stopped. They love what they do and realize that through music, they can please the people but also have fun in what they do. VUB's Music is a mixture of R&B and Hip- Hop. They try their best to show the people that guns, violence and sexual content does not have to be the ingredients to a good song but more like, rhythm and meaning is the path to greatness.
