Big day yesterday for Swizz Beatz' son Egypt. Young Egypt had the opportunity to watch Super Bowl 50 from a suite (unlimited popcorn!), accompanied by his dad, Jay Z, Usher, & Kendrick Lamar. Swizz captured the moment with a short video. "What you doing, working on a beat for Kendrick?" he asked his son. Also present in the suite were TDE CEO Anthony Tiffith and Swizz' lovely wife Alicia Keys. Egypt also got to meet Taraji P. Henson... lucky bastard.

Obama Sings "Happy Birthday" To Usher
Usher has experienced a lot in his long career, to the point that he doesn't get star struck all that often. However, a recent experience at the White House must have had the singer feeling a little strange, if not in awe. After being requested to perform a special concert for President Obama and First Lady Michelle, Usher was treated to a very special singing of Happy Birthday by the couple, which we're not sure even Jay Z may have experienced.
Usher Sings National Anthem Before Game 4 Of NBA Finals
Before the start of tonight’s Game 4 of the NBA Finals between Warriors and Cavs, fans at Quicken Loans Arena were welcomed to the singing of the “Star Spangled Banner” by R&B icon Usher. Taking center court, Usher and his gold-plated mic delivered a nice soulful rendition of America’s National Anthem. And if you were unaware, Usher also serves as minority owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers, so it probably wasn’t too hard for him to agree to do all this. Watch the performance above.

A few weeks before Wale released The Album About Nothing, the long-awaited conclusion to his Seinfeld-inspired series, he shared "The Matrimony," a smooth track that featured Usher and hinted at the more mature direction he'd be taking on the album. Today, the track gets a video shot in the most fitting setting: a wedding.
Usher Previews New Music In "Pepsi Challenge" Ad
We've seen Usher partner with Cheerios to promote his music in the past, but while the cereal box distribution of his single didn't quite pan out the way it was meant to, his new Pepsi ad seems like a more efficient way to share his music. Playing in the background of the trailer is Usher's new record, "Miracles," which will appear in the final short film the singer will be doing with the brand, expected to arrive soon.
Ludacris Offers Update On "Ludaversal"

Usher Feat. Chris Brown & August Alsina
Attendees of Usher's show in L.A. last night already knew they were going to glimpse one of R&B's biggest talents, but in actuality, they got a three-for-one deal when August Alsina and Chris Brown showed up midway through the show. A trenchcoat-clad Alsina ran through his "I Luv It" remix before Breezy entered (to ravenous applause) and performed "Loyal" and "new Flame" with Ursher. The three R&B greats treated each other respectfully onstage, engaging in a little bit of banter for the fans between songs.

August Alsina Talks Hospitalization, Working With Usher
August Alsina landed himself in the hospital a couple months back, which he attributed to being overworked. The singer luckily made a quick recovery, and hopped on tour with Usher right after the hospital visit. Alsina touches on the experience in his new interview with XXL, referring to his medical problems as something of a wake up call. While it won't slow his hustle, August stressed that he will have to find a balance that was not present before.

Usher On The Breakfast Club
Usher has a new album on the way, and so appropriately he stopped by Power 105.1's trio, The Breakfast Club. After speaking on sports and owning part of the Cleveland Cavaliers for the first bit, the conversation soon progresses to his upcoming album, and how Ursh stays relevant and youthful. Usher says that he's still working on his album while he goes on tour, and speaks on picking August Alsina as his touring partner. He talks about choosing artists on the come up for his tours, who eventually progress into full-fledged stars (naming Chris Brown, Trey Songz and more).

On the Ebro In The Morning program, Usher gave a long interview that touched on his humble beginnings, lighting Jordans on fire, and dancing competitions with Chris Brown. Comparing burning his Jordans after the dance-off with CB with Jimi Hendrix burning his guitar at the end of a show, Ursher incites disbelief in Rosenberg and Ebro, who consider maiming J's to be a crime.

Redman "Bud Like You (Remix)" Video
Redman has taken it upon himself to re-interpret Usher's single "Good Kisser" as "Bud Like You" which is all about his favorite substance, marijuana. It's actually pretty hilarious, he's basically serenading his weed while also calling out wack dealers, with lyrics like: "your dealer is a liar / because he don't never have the fire / he always talk reckless on the wire / my middle finger up to your supplier / I just wanna party I ain't tired / That sour diesel really gets you higher / Ah, I love marijuana, go and tell my mama I got the bud rolled up..."
