For more originality, J. Slim decided to add Mg. Uptown to his name, (Miami Gardens Uptown J. Slim), but prefers to be recognized as Uptown J Slim. Kodak is the 1st mix tape Slim has released to the public as a solo artist (although all other projects are difficult to find; for the record). Slim is a Miami go hard unsigned hip hop artist well known amongst his inner city community but he is attacking a bigger audience lately. Uptown J Slim wants the world to hear, understand, relate to, and enjoy his music; which begins with this "Kodak" moment. Partnered with Sayso and the established FOMOB LLC, we expect to here more of this New Miami music they call "uptown sound"... Enjoy!
